Have you heard of the lack of facial recognition. Those are people who don't recognize faces.
Well, I suffer form something similar. I can't recognize geese, to me they all look the same.
So, as I am out looking for the couple with all their goslings, I keep seeing geese all over my yard and the neighbors, but I can't tell who is who or if their babies are not present. I haven't seen the babies since last week.
I keep seeing couples without their children, so I can't tell if they are the parents or not. When you start a conversation with the wrong goose, it can get a little embarrassing. Parents think you are weird when you ask about their missing children.
Any way, I assumed all the babies had gotten lost or eaten, when just now I got this photo of the parents with their babies.
So all is well.
