Ok, this is just not right.

I had to call the vet for an emergency visit for one of my goats at my son's house. She had to drive all the way from Grass Valley to check on Stevie. Unfortunately, he had severe heart problems and had to be put down. The vet was very kind and did it very compassionately. For her and her assistant, she only charged me $275, even for coming all that way. I broke that down for the two of them driving all that way, and it came to about $70 an hour.

Ok, now I have plumbing problems at the restaurant. So I call my plumber—he lives about 15 minutes away. There were three of them and it was a big job, and they were here about five and a half hours. They charged me $3,500, which breaks down to about $212 an hour per person.

So a plumber makes three times more than a veterinarian?
