Ok, so I am a softy. My family knows it, my employees know it, and now my donkeys know it.
I give them treats throughout the day, so now they expect it. I was out on the street 200 feet from them, and they saw me and started hee-hawing. I go out and feed the fish in the pond and they come over. They come to me anytime they see me, and they start with their signature hissing sound that develops into the hee-hawing. Remember that show on TV? Now I understand much better.
My wife blames it all on me. As we were trying to have dinner on the deck, at one point Benny was hiding behind a flower bush, but most of the time they just sit there and stare and hiss at us.
I know, maybe I should give them pot gummies. Of course, with my luck, they would get addicted and things could be even worse. Ok, maybe I should take the pot gummies, and then I wouldn't care.
