Ok, I am 72 years old, and I suddenly realize I can’t tell the difference between a cricket and a frog croak.
Is this the first (or last) sign of dementia? I just think it’s weird that when all the frogs stop croaking, I don’t hear a single cricket. Maybe they’re in cahoots with each other. It just seems odd that I wouldn’t hear anything.
Oh, and if you think this is a sign of dementia, you don’t have to tell me—I’m sure my wife will.
Oh, and I see now why the geese decided not to build their nest on top of my woodpile. Directly above them is a hawk’s nest. Smart geese.
