Does anyone know a bird therapist?
Our daughter had a cat and a parakeet, but when she moved out, she left the bird, Jake, with us. She didn't ask; she just left it. Now we are taking care of Jake, cleaning his cage regularly, and to do that, you have to catch Jake and put him in a small container. While trying to catch him, he snuck out and flew to Phoebe. All you could see was his tail sticking out of Phoebe's mouth. My wife screamed at me, and I screamed at Phoebe. That worked, and she gave up Jake. I grabbed Jake, and he gave me a look like, why would you do that?
We are now looking for a bird trauma specialist.
Speaking of trauma, my wife left on a 17-day trip to Casablanca, and I have the kids and animals all to myself.
Hopefully, I won't screw up.
Thank you to all the Mira Lomans who showed up; it was a great turnout and a lot of fun.
