So, I talked about my new smart oven last week. I have tried in vain to reconnect it.
Well, I have a smart pilot buddy customer, and he took on the process of reconnecting my phone to the GE oven. We came up with a password, took screenshots so we wouldn't forget it, and after about 30 minutes, we thought we got it.
I go home, and of course, it doesn't work, but then the next morning it does. That evening, I made 3 dozen chocolate cookies. When they were done, I let the oven cool and placed them back in to stay warm. Then, I start working on dinner. I start to notice my glasses have gotten dirty because I can't see very well. Then my wife comes in and starts screaming because a tremendous amount of smoke is coming from the oven. I look over, and the oven has turned itself back on high, and I have 3 dozen black objects smoking like crazy.
I suddenly wonder how the oven came back on. Ah ha! I shared my password.
I can't wait to fix my buddy's breakfast next time he comes in.
