Ok, so I think I got COVID-20. Not 19, 20. With COVID-19, you lose your sense of smell and taste for days if not weeks. I, on the other hand, went around an entire day and a half and constantly smelled apple pie. I know that makes no sense but even when I was shaving in the bathroom I kept looking to see if my wife had hidden a piece of pie in the shower. I mean, how do you smell apples and cinnamon and sugar and dough where ever you go. It makes no sense, so it must be COVID-20. I just wonder how in the hell are they are going to find a vaccine for that.

Ok, so I saw this ad today where this woman wanted people to vote for or against (I can’t remember which) PROP 19. Her concern is that she wanted to move closer to her family and did not want to pay extra property tax to do so. I am sorry, but with COVID-19 we spending so much Family Time together, and I mean together, I don’t care what it would cost. Right now, I would pay anything to be further away from my darling children.

By the way, do any of you ever get home, and when you walk in the door panic because you don’t have your mask on?

I am smart. Surprised? So am I.

I was listening to Science Friday on NPR ( that would make me smart right there wouldn’t it?) and they were talking about crows and how smart they were. One of the things that separated crows from many other species is there level of intelligence. The reason they are considered smart is that they are smart enough to know what they don’t know.

Well, there you go, I know that I don’t know anything. So that would put me into the classification of smart. Ask me about rebuilding after a fire, I haven’t a clue. Ask me about a pandemic and I know even less. Ask me how to keep all my employees, customers, and even my kids happy, again I have no freaking idea. Next time you see me ask me anything and I will tell you that I do not possess the knowledge to answer your question. So who knows, you just may be dealing with a genius.

We all know how the Russians are trying to meddle in our election. Their main objective is to stir up discontent and cause confusion in every country in the world. Well, I know what they are doing here in the USA. They are breaking into people’s homes (I have a guess how) and they still one sock from each pair. How else could I have 100 unmatched socks? Think about it, if everyone runs around with just one sock, they are going to be a little uncomfortable and might be more inclined to do something crazy, like trying to throw their sons’ drums away (not that I would ever do such a thing). Anyway, I think it is very important we all watch the doggie door and our sock drawers.

So folks I want you to know that I just broke 6000 miles on a tank of gas on my plug-in Honda gas-electric hybrid. If you are unsure about all-electric cars, try a hybrid first. With a $9000 total tax credit it makes a lot of sense, plus it is good for the environment.
